Coleman, who voiced Michaelangelo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, Sept. 10: "Folks, I’m devastated this morning to learn of the passing yesterday of our dear sensei, Peter Renaday. Pete was one of the most genuine, salt of the earth people I have ever known, and I will miss him dearly."

He expressed that the two had just seen each a month ago and that Renaday was "as vibrant as ever, at 89, just as endearingly silly, smart and talented as I’ve always known him to be."

Kwasman shared similar sentiments, writing on Facebook, "It’s with great sadness that I have to report that my good friend Peter Renaday, who was the voice of Mickey Mouse among dozens of other voices, has passed away this week."

He remembered the two having often had brunch with other voice actors "every couple of months," adding, "I will miss his stories about the theater and working for Disney. He will be sorely missed."

"I’ve just learned that Peter Renaday has passed," Eisenmann wrote on X. "I worked with Peter for many years in voice over. He was a gentle, fascinating man and one of the greatest and most prolific voice artists in the business. Rest well my friend."

"To my darling Ninja Turtle fans, By now, many of you have already heard, but we just lost our amazing Sensei, Master Splinter, and dearest friend Peter Renaday. As I write this, the tears in my eyes make it hard to see enough to write this post," wrote Clarke on Facebook, recalling seeing Renaday while celebrating his 88th birthday.

In addition to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Renaday is also known for lending his voice to The Million Dollar Duck, Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N., The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes and The Cat from Outer Space.
