Pete Evans completely unrecognisable after shock transformation
The TV star looks worlds away from his time on My Kitchen Rules.
Controversial celebrity chef Pete Evans looks barely recognisable from his days on TV in a recent Instagram post.
The former My Kitchen Rules judge, who is banned from a majority of social media platforms himself, rocked a scruffy mullet haircut in a photo shared by his wife Nicola on Wednesday.
The snap shows the 50-year-old looking to the right with the sides of his head shaved off and his wild brown tresses reaching below his neck.
“Probably opening my Momullet hair salon sometime soon?” Nicola captioned the image.
“I feel like I’m close to mastering this funky yet functional head rug. It seems very popular among the Humans that show up for the Earth dance with the FYIWDWYTM (f**k you I won’t do what you tell me) attitude.”

Nicola’s followers appeared to love Pete’s new 'do, with one follower saying he looks “so good”.
“What a talented hairdresser you are,” another person commented, while a third replied, “I love this!”
“He looks about 23 here! You’re Benjamin Buttoning him with your talented tea talons,” someone else shared.
Pete also showed off his wild new look in a post from his wife earlier this month where she referred to him as “Fluffy Ragnar”, a character from the Netflix series Vikings.
What happened to Pete Evans?
After hosting My Kitchen Rules for 11 seasons, Pete Evans was sensationally dropped by Channel Seven in 2020.
The father-of-two caused controversy during the coronavirus pandemic after making posts online about opposing Covid-19 vaccines and the wearing of masks.

He was also fined $25,000 from the Therapeutic Goods Administration after spruiking a $15,000 light machine as a potential coronavirus treatment.
Both his Facebook and Instagram pages have since been removed for “COVID-19 misinformation breaches”, and he was dropped as a contestant from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s seventh season.
