This New Study About Middle Children Has Gone Mega-Viral
Middle children have faced unfair treatment and discrimination based on their birth order for YEARS.
They even coined a bogus term about it: "Middle Child Syndrome."
Well, children of the middle, listen up, it's our time to shine.
Researchers from Brock University and the University of Calgary found that middle children scored the highest in honesty, humility, and agreeableness in a study analyzing personality traits in over 700,000 people.
This clip from Fox 5 Atlanta has gone mega-viral on TikTok:

As Fox 5 anchor said, "Firstborn children have been stereotyped to be assertive while some consider the younger child to be spoiled. But on a test examining personality traits, middle children scored the highest on honesty, humility, and agreeableness."
Middle children in the comments are rejoicing.
"As the middle child thank you for giving us something at last," this middle child said.
"This is the first positive thing I've heard about being a middle child," another middle child chimed in.
"As a middle child, I'd show this to my parents, but they probably forgot I exist again," another person joked.
Some people, mostly first-borns and the youngest siblings, tend to disagree.
"As the oldest this is TOP TIER middle child gaslighting," this person said.
"This is just the kinda thing a middle child would write," another person joked.
And this person brought out some real-life evidence: "My brother is the middle child and he is in prison..so yeah that's all."
Ultimately, I'm personally not surprised by this study! To quote this person, "As a middle child, I knew I was better than everybody else."
Amen!
