Peacock’s ‘Paris & Nicole: The Encore’ Trailer: Duo Return To Their ‘Simple Life’ Roots In Journey To “Sanasa” Performance

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunited after more than twenty years since The Simple Life, and Peacock has released the trailer for Paris & Nicole: The Encore.

The three-part special, set to premiere on December 12, will document Hilton and Richie’s reunion as they try to produce an operatic performance based on their self-coined phrase, “Sanasa.”

Hilton and Richie became reality TV pioneers after starring in 2003’s The Simple Life, which had cameras follow the two socialites visiting small rural towns across the U.S. struggling to do menial jobs. The show ran for three seasons on Fox and two additional seasons on E!, ending its five-season run in 2007.

Paris & Nicole: The Encore sees the duo reuniting and recreating moments from two decades ago, including their return to work at fast-food chain Sonic. The reality series follows the duo’s quest to create an opera performance based on their phrase, “Sanasa.”

“In order to write their magnum opus, they must first revisit their past,” says the announcer.

Hilton and Richie then travel on a private jet to Arkansas and visit some of their old friends, shocking some of them by trying to gift them a “self-care vibrator” but finding out they didn’t sell them in the small town.

All episodes of Paris & Nicole: The Encore will drop on Peacock on December 12.

The special is produced by Fulwell 73 Productions and executive produced by Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Ben Winston, Sarah Dillistone, JJ Duncan, Emma Conway, Bruce Gersh, Bruce Robertson, Michael Baum, Carrie Franklin. Co-executive producers include David Downey and Ashley Baumann-Sylvester.
