Paula Abdul 'alarms' fans with transformation: 'What is happening?'
The star appeared much younger than her actual age.
Paula Abdul has baffled fans with her latest set of holiday snaps, with many saying they didn't recognise the 60-year-old singer. The former American Idol judge debuted her 'ageless' new look at socialite Kathy Hilton's Christmas party.
The star gushed about the fun she had celebrating with her friends on Instagram. “Kathy Hilton always throws the most fabulous holiday party, Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day relaxing, celebrating and surrounded by friends and family,” she wrote. “Sending you lots of love and holiday cheer.”
The star looked incredible in a sheer green dress with sparkling details and wore her wavy hair down.
She looked much younger than her age, and her celebrity pals heaped their praise on the star.

“You look so incredible. Merry Christmas, we all love you,” wrote actress Cara Cunningham.
“Love this pic,” added actor Michael Rosenbaum.
“You look so beautiful. Merry Christmas,” reality star Dorinda Medley gushed.
Paula’s fans also flooded the comment section in disbelief, with many wondering why the ‘ageless’ singer looked so different.
“This looks like a completely different person,” one person wrote.
“Did the account get hacked? Who am I even looking at?” another asked.
“You look 16!!! Stunning. Merry Xmas,” a third added.
“That is not Paula Abdul. Not even at all,” another remarked.

However, she was soon slammed by fans for heavily editing the snaps, which some called ‘embarrassing’.
“Paula, you’re beautiful. There’s no need to edit your photos to the point that people don’t recognise you,” a fan advised.
“Wow. I don’t understand this. Everyone knows what you actually look like. The amount of editing here is embarrassingly obvious,” another agreed.
“Paula…you’re 60. Aging is beautiful. You’ve edited yourself down to being 12 years old. It’s alarming,” a third wrote.
“What the hell is happening in these pictures? Surgery or filters?? Why can’t people just take a pic and be real?!” another exclaimed.
