Paris Hilton's horrific injury after common mistake: 'Gushing blood'
Paris Hilton has recounted a ‘scary’ incident she had while overseas, after making a simple common mistake.
The star was scrolling through her phone in bed when she dropped it directly on her face — causing blood to gush all over her face.
Talking candidly on her This is Paris podcast, the reality TV star described the horrific situation.
“I’m holding my phone and it slips, and lands on my face, literally on my eyelid. All of a sudden I feel this liquid coming down,” she said.
“It was blood. I was in shock. I open the phone, I look in the camera and just start crying.”

Paris was due to play a big DJ set the very next day, saying she was ‘screwed’ and unsure if she would 'be able to see' out of that eye.
“It was gushing, it was crazy, I was so, so scared.”
Her husband Carter Reum was out shopping for some clothes which added to Paris’ panic.
“I sent [Carter] this video of me freaking out, crying, so he rushed back,” she said, before adding the hotel spa provided a doctor to help heal her eye.
She considered putting on sunglasses on or trying to cover the eye up so she could go to a music festival that night, but ultimately decided that could make her injury worse.
In a strange twist of events, the heiress said when she woke up, her eye was healed.
“It was like an alien healed [my eye], it was crazy,” Paris exclaimed. “You could see that it was cut, but no bruise, no swelling.”
Paris Hilton's ‘chaotic’ collaboration with the Irwins
The star recently made waves in Australia, after participating in a bizarre Uber Eats ad with the Irwin family.
The 30-second ad features Bindi, Robert and Terri Irwin ordering Uber Eats while showcasing the various attractions in Australia Zoo, including the crocodiles, lizards and giraffes.
Paris is then shown wearing a fitted hot pink jumpsuit and sparkly belt standing outside of what she’s transformed into the ‘Chihuahua enclosure’.
“Crikey Paris, this is where we keep the snakes!” Terri tells the pop culture icon, before the camera shows a dog-sized bulge in one of the snake’s belly.
“That is so crikey,” Paris replies, followed by Robert who sighs, “Can’t even get ‘crikey’ right”.
After the video was shared on social media, fans were clearly divided over the star-studded collaboration.
"Terrible ad and this just seems like such a sellout,” one dissatisfied viewer wrote, while someone else said the combination was “weird”.
“An ad featuring a zoo showing a dog being eaten, right,” a third shared.
However, a majority of people praised the partnership and labelled it their "favourite Uber Eats ad yet”.
“This is the greatest crossover episode ever,” a fan remarked, followed by a different user who remarked, “This is so chaotic, I love it”.
“This is hilarious,” another added, with someone else writing, “Whoever wrote this needs an Emmy”.
