Parents say this $6.50 Kmart item gives them 'hours of peace' and I'm adding 20 of them to my cart
We love our kids, but if we could drink our coffee uniterupted that would be great, thanks.
If you are a parent or have friends who are parents or if you have simply ever known a parent then you will know that we parents love our kids more than anything. But you'll also know that if something promises to give us ten minutes to drink our coffee hot and in peace, we are all ears.
Kmart has obviously heard us loud and clear with a simple solution that parents are raving about online - something they have the time to do because their kiddos are occupied with a cheap and creative find from the budget retailer. Can I get an Amen? (or a 'hell yeah' if you prefer a non-denominational celebration).
Shoppers give big thumbs up to simple play idea
"Best $6.50 I've ever spent," one happy parent posted in a Facebook group. "I have had HOURS of peace and quiet. Get one."
The item that she owes a debt of gratitude to is a Creative Stickers Kit which the Kmart website says is "perfect for little ones who want to have fun and be creative during playtime."

Other parents quickly weighed in with their own experiences of the kit, which includes a big wall sticker and more than 300 reusable stickers so you can create your own 2D dollhouse.
"Yes!! I got this about 6 weeks ago and it’s been amazing! My daughter and even her friends have enjoyed it," one shopper said.
Other people said they were eager to buy a couple, given the glowing review from the original poster.
"Thank you for sharing! My daughter will love this," one said.
"Hours of peace! One for each little one needed," another parent laughed.
"This is a great idea!" said a third.
"Neeeeed," pleaded another.
"THANK YOU! I’m flying with three kids to Europe next week and this looks amazing to take on the plane, another shared. "The face I mean, not the big house."
The face she was referring to is the other option of the sticker kit - which consists of a face wall sticker and 200 smaller stickers to help your little ones create expressive faces and run wild with their creativity. Cute!
Concerns about creative stickers kit
While the kit was getting some serious love online, there were a few shoppers who had a pressing question (that is a pun and you will see why shortly).
"Can I ask, does it pull the paint off the wall when removed?" a few people asked.
