Paige DeSorbo Denies Cheating on Craig Conover, Says 'No One Was Blindsided'

Paige DeSorbo is not here for the rumors regarding her old relationship. The Summer House star clarified all of the cheating allegations being hurled her way after her very public breakup with Southern Charm star Craig Conover, breaking down one of the biggest split's in Bravo history and giving her side of the story.

In the weeks since DeSorbo announced her split from Conover on her Giggly Squad podcast with former Summer House star Hannah Berner, she has mostly kept quiet about the split, while rumors regarding her fidelity in the relationship festered online. Austen Kroll, Conover's Southern Charm co-star, only made matters worse when he alluded to DeSorbo already "moving on" with another guy on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen.

On the latest episode of Giggly Squad, DeSorbo finally put the rumors to rest. "I never, in the three years that I dated my ex-boyfriend, I never physically cheated on him [or] emotionally cheated on him,” DeSorbo told listeners. “Can you mentally cheat on him? I don't know, but I didn't.”

She went on to detail a timeline of their break up. Basically, the two split around Thanksgiving, and per Conover's request, they kept it private while he promoted the new season of Southern Charm.

"Craig then went on and did press for Southern Charm, did whatever he needed to do, acting as if we were still together,” she explained on the episode. “And that was fine. I said that he could do that. He was processing in his own way. Christmas came and went.”

After he began "presenting himself as single," however, DeSorbo explained she felt it was time that they went public. She reached out to him in a text (that went unanswered), before announcing the split on her podcast in December.

“And then the narrative just like took a turn really quickly that I had cheated, that I broke up with him like a week [before the podcast] [and] moved on with some new guy,” she said on the episode.

“Let me say this here and now, I did not move on with some new guy," she pressed. "I am single. I don't have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat on my ex-boyfriend. And it was a full month that we were broken up, and I didn't say anything.”

“I decided that I did not want to go forth with that relationship, but no one was blindsided, no one was cheated on," she added. "I really took to heart what I said on Giggly Squad when I first announced my breakup. It was really hard for me. And I felt like I spoke extremely highly of him.”
