Ozzy Osbourne Makes Major Career Announcement Amid Health Struggles
Ozzy Osbourne, 76, is going out with a bang, as he just announced a final reunion with Black Sabbath amid his recent health struggles.
On July 5, 2025, Ozzy will reunite with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward to headline a one-day metal festival at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
The charity event—titled Back to the Beginning—will raise money for Cure Parkinson's, the Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorn Children's Hospice. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. GMT on Feb. 14 at LiveNation.co.uk.
At the July festival, Ozzy, who lives with Parkinson's, will play a short solo set before joining Black Sabbath on stage. It will be the first time they play together in 20 years.
Back to the Beginning will also feature performances by artists from bands like Disturbed, Guns 'n Roses, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Halestorm, Anthrax, Rage Against the Machine and more.
“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy said in a statement shared on Instagram. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
