Osher Günsberg shocks fans with major hair transformation: 'Love it!'

Since launching his TV career as a presenter on Channel [V] in 1999, Osher Günsberg has become well known for his diverse range of hairstyles.

The popular host had long hair tied in a ponytail when he worked on the music channel, sported a shaggy blonde look on Australian Idol, and is probably most recognisable for his short sleek ‘do on The Bachelor.

Now, the 48-year-old has surprised his followers on social media and debuted a brand new hairstyle.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Osher shared a video of himself shaving his beard to promote Movember and raise awareness for men’s mental health.

The clip began with a number of close-ups of his chin before transitioning to a shot of his clean-shaven face, which also showcased his new icy white blonde hair colour. The Masked Singer presenter ended the video by giving a wide smile to the camera while wearing a pair of bright orange glasses.

‘Hair goals’

Osher’s followers quickly took to the comments to compliment his new look, with one person saying they were “living for it”.

“Hair goals,” another added, followed by a third who said, “Love it!”

“Wait GREY HAIRS!” someone else remarked, to which Osher replied: “Yes I’m 10,000 years old.”

Others were less enthused by the transformation, with one follower brutally commenting that Osher looks like “a 70-year-old grandmother about to hit up the bingo haul”.

"I can only hope you went as Papa from Stranger Things for Halloween with that hair,” a different user wrote. “Full Matthew Modine vibes!”

The Bachelors 2023

Osher’s new look comes shortly after Channel Ten announced that the long-awaited tenth season of The Bachelor, aptly renamed The Bachelors with three leading men, will premiere on January 9.

The long-time host shared a photo on Instagram on Tuesday of himself standing with the show’s stars Felix Von Hofe, Thomas Malucelli and Jed McIntosh.

“Taking the lads through their worksite induction prior to kicking off season TEN of @TheBachelorau,” he captioned the photo.

“Can’t wait for you to see Felix, Jed and Thomas go on this epic adventure. January 9th. Who’s in?”
