Nutella and The Oodie team up for huge giveaway

The Oodie has proven itself to be a runaway success over the past two winters with Aussies forking out up to a million dollars a day to keep warm in these cosy oversized hoodies.
An Oodie will set you back $109 when not on sale, with dozens of lower priced dupes from the likes of Kmart, Cotton On and Big W also on the market, but this year you have the chance to get your hands on an original for free.
Nutella has teamed up with the cult brand to give away a whopping 500 free Oodies and you have between now and July 3 to enter the draw.
The competition is pretty simple: to get in the running all you have to do is purchase a specially marked jar of Nutella, scratch the grey sticker on the lid to reveal a unique code, and enter it at nutella.com/win.
Up for grabs are special edition white Oodies covered in black and red hearts, as well as a giant jar of Nutella. They're a one-size fit and unisex.

In addition, Sydneysiders can mark their calendars for June 1, the first day of winter, because Surry Hills cafe Cuckoo Callay has signed up to promote the free Oodie giveaway by handing out Nutella croissants to the first 100 people who walk in dressed in their Oodies that day. The free brekky starts at 7am and is available to the first 100 customers.

If you can’t wait for the competition winners to be announced - which will be sometime in July - you can get your hands on a discounted Oodie now as the brand is taking $25 off a whole range of prints.
Using the code "WINTER" you can get the super popular Koala, Avocado and Sloth designs, along with a whole heap of others, for $84 instead of $109.
Bundle packs are also on sale so if you can gather together some friends to buy four Oodies, they come to just $70 each.
For something cheaper still, the $29 Kmart knockoff has been really popular although it’s not quite as fluffy as the original and only comes in women’s sizes.
There’s also The Comfy which is available on Amazon Australia for $60 and is actually the design that the Oodie is based on.
The Comfy first made its debut on the American version of Shark Tank back in 2017 when it was introduced as an oversized hoodie made out of a blanket.
Just like the Oodie we know and love, it’s made out of a velvety soft fleece on the outside and a cosy sherpa fleece on the inside, and comes with a hood and a front pouch.
The designs are limited to five colourways - black, pink, grey, navy and camouflage - but because it’s on Amazon you can order it for next-day delivery if you live in a major city.
