Last night, Nikki Glaser made her debut as host of the Golden Globes. And what a debut it was. The comedian brought her signature wry humor and her penchant for glamour to the hosting gig—while her gentle roasts never got too mean, her gowns could never have enough sparkle. The vibes? Immaculate. And the fashion? As glitzy and as glam as one could have hoped.

Styled by duo Dani Charlton and Emma Rubenstein, Glaser arrived on the red carpet in a custom golden brown satin Prabal Gurung gown. And that was just the beginning.

Throughout the evening, Glaser wore a staggering nine looks. Basically, when she wasn't joking it up on stage, she was probably performing a very quick costume change behind the scenes.

First, she donned a glamorous red ballgown with a daring thigh-high slit and a strapless neckline for her opening monologue.

Her monologue was packed full of jaw-dropping one-liners that toed the line between too controversial and spot on. “I gotta say, this feels like I finally made it. You know, I’m in a room full of producers at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and this time, all of my clothes are on, so it was worth it,” she said in the opening of the monologue.

Another winner: “Timothée Chalamet is here too. Really, and I love you. And can I just say—you have the most gorgeous eyelashes on your upper lip.”

And finally: "I do want to remind you, if you do lose tonight, please just keep in mind that the point of making art is not to win an award. The point of making art is the start of tequila brand so popular that you never have to make art again.”

Rolling Stone praised her for a "genuinely delightful monologue," while the New York Times deemed it to be "stellar".

As for Glaser, she was mostly concerned about getting it right—apparently, she rehearsed it on stage almost 100 times before last night's show.

After her monologue, Glaser made a few more appearances throughout the evening. And, naturally, she rocked a new look each and every time. First, she slipped into a silver sleeveless maxi gown with matching shoes.

From then on, the new just kept coming. She donned another silver dress covered in sequins, a bedazzled pink dress (to which she added a papal mitre and a glittering Glinda wand for her Conclave and Wicked mash-up entitled "Pope-ular"), a slinky, plunging black dress with a slit, another slinky black number with a silver floral embellishment, a metallic red dress with a cutout and embellishments around the chest, a form-fitting leopard print dress with long sleeves, which she kept on for the after-party. In total, that's nine outfit changes in the space of about three hours.
