Yahoo Lifestyle ‘The Night Agent’ Season 2 Debuts at No. 1 on Netflix Top 10 With 13.9 Million Views
Season 2 of “The Night Agent” was the most-watched Netflix series of the week of Jan. 20-26, debuting with 13.9 million views in its first four days of availability.
The season’s success is unsurprising given how Season 1 performed when it debuted in 2023 — landing at No. 7 on Netflix’s list of its most popular-English language TV series of all time with 98.2 million views in its first 91 days of streaming. However, the debut of Season 2 doesn’t appear to have matched that of Season 1, which debuted with 168.7 million hours watched in four days back before Netflix ranked viewership in terms of views. Divided by the season’s runtime of 8 hours and 11 minutes, Season 1’s opening weekend amounted to 20.6 million views — ahead of Season 2’s 13.9 million.

The most-watched title of the week overall was on the movies chart: “Back in Action,” starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, had its second week at No. 1 with 46.8 million views.
