Netflix debuted the official trailer for its new reality series W.A.G.s to Riches on Wednesday, Jan. 8, giving a first look at the powerhouse women who prove they're a force of their own despite being romantically linked to notable names across sports and entertainment.

The teaser pulls back the curtain on each of the nine wives and girlfriends who star in all eight episodes of season 1, which will be released on the streaming platform on Jan. 22. Per the official synopsis, they aren't just "riding the coattails" of their celebrity partners.

"The old definition of W.A.G.s was like, 'Oh, I'm a kept b----.' But now, I'm making my money. That's the new W.A.G.," says Porsha Berto in the trailer. The real estate agent is married to retired world champion boxer Andre Berto, who she shares two children with and has a third on the way.

The docu-soap is set in Miami, where the ladies are respectively balancing busy careers, motherhood and their high-profile relationship — "all while navigating the glamour, drama, and ambition of their elite worlds," per the synopsis.

"In this circle, we're all with high-profile men who elevate us. But we elevate their ass too," one of the women says in the trailer. "We have our own businesses. Two hustlers are better than one."

Sharelle Rosado, who Netflix deems the "queen bee of the W.A.G.s," was formerly in a relationship with Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. They got engaged in 2023, but seemingly called it quits in October 2024.

The mom of four also founded Allure Realty in 2019. Several of the women in the cast — like Maranda Johnson (linked to rapper Kodak Black), Ashley Wheeler (married to former Miami Dolphins player Philip Wheeler) and Berto — all work for the multimillion-dollar real estate agency.

Based on the trailer, the series has its fair share of drama as the women navigate their own lives, their reputations and their day-to-day responsibilities as businesswomen and, for some, parents. Plus, it previews the "ups and downs" of their relationships.

In December, Netflix released the complete cast list. In addition to Berto, Rosado, Johnson and Wheeler, the show stars Alexis Welch Stoudemire, Sadé Vanessa, Lastonia Leviston, Keeta Hill and Julz Goddard.

Stoudemire was married to basketball legend and Olympian Amar’e Stoudemire, who she wed in December 2012 and divorced in April 2021. They built a legacy together, which included an expansive real estate portfolio, a notable name in the fashion industry and multiple philanthropic endeavors.

Vanessa is engaged to NFL player Robbie Chosen Anderson, who she's been in a relationship with for nine years and is currently expecting a child with. The entrepreneur has her own swimwear brand, while also working as a TV and podcast host.

Leviston is tied to rapper Rick Ross and is the mother of his first child. While she has a bustling career as a businesswoman, as the founder of the lavish Miami-based boutique Instatique, she prioritizes her role as a mom.

Hill is married to one of the top-paid wide receivers in the NFL, Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill. The tech entrepreneur is expecting her first child with the athlete.

Goddard is the mother of one daughter, who she welcomed with her ex-fiancé Duke Riley. While her former partner is sports-focused as an athlete in the NFL, she works in entertainment as founder and CEO of 1 AM Media known for its collaborations with notable clients like Travis Scott and Puma.

All eight episodes of W.A.G.s to Riches will be released on Netflix on Jan. 22.
