Neighbours shares final cast photo with one missing detail

The curtains have closed for Australia’s longest-running soap Neighbours, after spending 37 years on our screens.

After the final scene was finished on Friday, the cast and crew took one last photo together to farewell Ramsay Street for good. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot one missing detail from the picture.

Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, who played characters Charlene and Scott Robinson were notably absent from the emotional photo. The couple made television history when their characters tied the knot in 1987, with millions of people glued to the screen.

The pair will be making a return to Ramsay Street, with Kylie mentioning on Late Night with Seth Meyers that she had already shot her scenes.

“There was quite a bit of pressure for me to go back, so I shot my scenes,” she told the host on Tuesday.
