Nathan Cleary’s secret fling with Married At First Sight bride

Penrith Panthers co-captain Nathan Cleary’s rumoured relationship with Matildas star Mary Fowler isn’t the footy player’s first celebrity romance he’s kept under wraps.

The rugby league star has been linked with Mary after the two were spotted enjoying an ice cream date in August before The Daily Telegraph nabbed photos of them on a riverside stroll in Western Sydney.

Rumours of a romance haven't been confirmed by Nathan or Mary themselves, with people also speculating the two are just friends due to attending events for their shared sponsor Adidas.

But while we wait to see if the two sporting stars are about to become a power couple, it's been revealed Nathan previously kept another romance with a former reality star hidden from the public eye.

Yahoo Lifestyle understands Nathan previously enjoyed a fling with Married At First Sight’s Carolina Santos.

An insider says: “They used to hook up before she started filming MAFS. It was never anything serious but the footy boys used to tease him when her season eventually aired.”

Carolina went on to date 2022 MAFS co-star Daniel Holmes before they split in August last year, and she was also linked to MAFS' Duncan James earlier this year.

Nathan Cleary's dating past

Following his fling with Carolina, Nathan briefly dated model Tèah Foot before being pictured kissing Love Island Australia's Tina Provis at a party in Bali earlier this year.

When asked about rumours he’s now dating Matildas star Mary Fowler last week, Nathan told The Kyle & Jackie O Show: “Nah, nah, we’re not going to get into that.”

However, his teammate Jarome Luai confirmed the speculation, saying: “Yeah, we’re into them, definitely… he’s a bit shy, that’s all.”
