I celebrated my birthday earlier this week, and it was magical. Everything was straight out of a movie, from dining at my favorite restaurant to indulging in decadent chocolate-covered strawberries. The cherry (or should I say, “cake”?) on top was the delicate snowflakes that covered my Brooklyn street. But, boy, was it cold. Her merlot boots made me do a double-take, reminding me of Keira Knightley’s hot footwear, while her little black bag is a staple in every capsule wardrobe. The fuzzy top layer had a roomy fit, thick lapels, and two buttons. While it reached her knees and boasted drop shoulders, the snuggly jacket still had a polished look. The neutral hue elevated the separate, especially when put against such a contrasting color.
