Yahoo Lifestyle Ming Lee Simmons Makes Debut as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s New Rookie in Lybethras’ Eco-friendly Bikini

Ming Lee Simmons, the eldest daughter of Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons, has been tapped as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s newest rookie. On Wednesday, the magazine announced that the model would appear in the issue’s 2025 edition, slated for May.

“Over the years I have learned that that is easier said than done because we all can feel insecure about different things about our bodies, especially as a woman with social media and outside pressures,” Lee Simmons shared.
The model has undergone surgeries for endometriosis and scoliosis, leaving her with scars on her hips and back. Although these once made her insecure, they’ve since become some of her “favorite parts about [her] body.”
Lee Simmons also discussed how her mother, former Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes and the Olsen twins have impacted her taste in fashion.
“I feel like simplicity definitely fuels my style inspiration right now,” she said. “And I feel like a large part of that is because I’m still discovering my personal style. But a lot of the times, I just wear or do what feels good.”
Lee Simmons’ younger sister, Aoki, is also an up-and-coming model. Aoki fronted a campaign for BCBG’s New York capsule collection last spring. Following in the footsteps of her mother, she has posed for Kimora’s brand Baby Phat and launched a collaborative collection with JustFab. Aoki, Ming and Kimora also launched Baby Phat Beauty in 2020.
