Isabella Strahan Poses for Rare Selfie With Mom After Cancer Battle

Michael Strahan's daughter, Isabella, is all smiles in a selfie with her rarely-seen mom, Jean Muggli.

The 19-year-old was recently declared to have no evidence of cancer after completing chemotherapy treatment following a diagnosis of medulloblastoma and an emergency surgery in October 2023.

But now, the young woman is marking an exciting milestone: her return to college.

On Instagram, she excitedly documented herself making her way back to the University of Southern California, where she posted a Boomerang video with Muggli on campus.

"Back at USC," text over the clip read in her school colors of cardinal red and golden yellow.

Isabella looked cool and casual in a white tank top and denim mini shorts, accessorized with gold hoop earrings, several dainty necklaces and sunglasses worn on top of her head.

The photo with Muggli is a rare sighting for fans, as Isabella is more often publicly seen with her former pro footballer and Good Morning America star dad. In addition to Isabella, the two are also parents to her twin sister, Sophia.

Strahan has been extremely supportive over the course of his daughter's cancer battle, taking off time from his spot on the morning broadcast over the past year to be by her side.

In July, the college student shared a short video explaining how her "last appointment" went, saying, "It was a great, great scan. Everything was clear, cancer-free, and everything is great." She further shared that her next appointment will take place in October 2024, a year after the initial medical diagnosis.
