“We are beyond excited to welcome these accomplished agents and their talented clients to MMA. Together with colleagues Ben Izzo, Lucy Powis, and Rose Quealy, who joined the agency a year ago, MMA will continue to provide the finest quality of representation for our clients,” said Michael Moore, Founder & Partner, MMA.

Most recently, Blickers, Ezell, and Zapanta were at IAG, comprising its entire theatrical literary department. Blickers and Ezell join MMA as agents, and Zapanta joins as an assistant.

Douglas has worked independently since 2019, building on her 35 years of advocating and shepherding the careers of theater artists. Her background includes a 21-year association with the legendary agent Flora Roberts, as well as 15 years as the co-head of the theatrical literary department of Abrams Artists Agency. She continues her role as owner and administrator of Flora Roberts, Inc. in addition to her new role at MMA.

Blickers began her career at the William Morris Agency, where she began work after graduating from NYU. Blickers has served on numerous jury panels including the Weissberger and Ed Kleban Awards and has facilitated industry related workshops and panels for organizations and universities around the country. She is the Past President of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas and is the Board Chair Emeritus of Theatre Breaking Through Barriers, a New York company that works with artists with disabilities.

Ezell represents Obie and Lortel winning playwrights, directors, designers, and dramaturgs working from small regional theatres to Broadway. Prior to MMA, they worked as the theatre department coordinator at IAG and in the literary departments at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Vineyard Theatre. They are a graduate of the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Theatre Studies.
