Meghan McCain Takes Aim At Kanye West And Wife Bianca Censori Over Grammys Drama

Meghan McCain’s distaste for Kanye West has appeared to have been revived after the rapper’s wife, Bianca Censori, jolted the internet with her NSFW Grammys red carpet look on Sunday.

After West (whose legal name is Ye) and Censori strolled onto the red carpet at the 67th annual Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Censori removed her coat to reveal a mostly nude look. Ye wore a simple black T-shirt, matching pants and black sunglasses.

“I just want and have wanted for years — for Kanye West to leave us all the hell alone,” McCain wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday in a since-deleted post, Entertainment Weekly reported. “He’s a repugnant, vile piece of garbage.”

The former co-host of “The View” added, “And his wife looks like a victim and a hostage.”

Shortly after being photographed during their controversial entrance on the red carpet, the couple suddenly left, subsequently sparking rumors that Ye and Censori had been removed from the event.

The gossip was later debunked, with a source revealing to People and E! News that the record producer and the Australian model intentionally got into Ye’s car and left the event immediately after shocking fans with their red carpet moment.

Though McCain hasn’t publicly addressed the since-deleted post, a representative of McCain told EW that removing her own X post “was an accident” and “she thinks he’s a vile pig.”

HuffPost has reached out to Ye and McCain’s reps for comment.

The daughter of the late GOP Sen. John McCain and author of “Bad Republican” has been vocal before about her beef with Ye, who was a nominee for Best Rap Song for “Carnival” at Sunday’s ceremony.

After Ye sparked public outrage for wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week and posting an antisemitic tweet, in which he claimed he was going to go “death con 3 on Jewish people” in October 2022, McCain slammed the musician in an Instagram post.

“I have zero tolerance for this shit. Zero,” she wrote of Ye alongside a screenshot of his tweet. “This is poison and yet another example why this man and his behavior are trash.”
