Meghan Markle's Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, hasn't even premiered yet and it's already receiving harsh commentary from critics. But Markle's former Suits co-star and good friend Abigail Spencer is promising viewers that, if they give the show a chance, they will see a different side of the duchess.

On Thursday, Spencer attended the American Heart Association Red Dress Collection Concert, where she opened up about what to expect from the Duchess of Sussex's new project. “What I'm so excited about is that people will really get an authentic look at the woman that I love and know,” Spencer told People at the event. “Also, you're gonna learn a lot. I learned a lot from her and she actually gets to teach me something on the show. I'm just so grateful.”

Spencer continued, “It's really from her heart. It really is with love."

Markle and Spencer first met on the set of Suits and instantly hit it off. "I was doing a pilot for NBC, and I went to read with the people who were supposed to play my best friend. They were testing other actresses," Spencer previously recalled on The Kelly Clarkson Show, per Hello!. "I walk in, I see this beautiful gorgeous creature at the end of the table and I'm like, 'Who is that?' We had an immediate something, you know? And her name is Meghan Markle."

Spencer won't be the only pal joining Markle in the kitchen. Markle's upcoming show—which is primed to "reimagine the genre of lifestyle programming," according a press release from Netflix—will also include appearances from Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Tatcha founder Vicky Tsai, and Chef Alice.

With Love, Meghan will be available to stream on Netflix on Tuesday, March 4.
