Meghan Markle sparks frenzy with $39 blue dress: 'I need it'
There was a lot happening in Prince Harry's surprise interview with his mate, British talk show king James Corden earlier this week.
In the wide-ranging chat, the prince and The Late Late Show host discussed everything from mental health to fatherhood and quitting the royal family, all while enjoying tea atop a tourist bus in LA, of course.
Best dressed
After stopping off at the real-life mansion featured in the TV show The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, James attempted to persuade Harry that this should be his true, princely residence.
Unimpressed with Harry's enthusiasm, James called his wife, Meghan Markle on Facetime to try and get her go-ahead for the proposed move.
The giggling duchess politely declined the suggestion, explaining that the family of three — soon to be four — had "done enough moving" of late.
The Sussexes settled into their $25 million Santa Barbara home in late 2020 after vacating the 12-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion owned by millionaire actor and producer Tyler Perry.

Frock frenzy
The impromptu Facetime call was a chance for viewers to get a glimpse of what Meghan wears while at home and the answer no doubt surprised many.
Turns out the 39-year-old was sporting a very affordable blue dress by a local LA brand called Velvet Torch. At just $39, the 'Puffed Sleeve Smocked Dress' is within the budget for duchesses and commoners alike.
Needless to say, once fans spotted the cheap and cheerful piece on the Velvet Torch Instagram, a shopping frenzy ensued.
"I need it because Megan wore it," gushed one in the comments section.
"Sparkle like Markle! Love this dress! Pre-ordering now," said another.
"Bought mine can’t wait to rock it and hopefully I’ll look half as beautiful as Meghan," added a third.
The 'Meghan effect' has seen the style sell out on the brand's website, with a note instructing keen customers that their orders will ship later in March.
The duchess went slightly more up-market look for her highly-anticipated tell-all interview with Oprah, slipping into a black Giorgio Armani creation for the one-on-one chat.
From what we can see in the teaser promos, the $5880 long-sleeved maxi dress features a v neckline and white lotus flower detailing on one shoulder.
The empire-line style is the perfect fit for mum-to-be Meghan, who announced her second pregnancy back in February.
