Touching tribute to Diana in Harry and Meghan's baby news
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby news contained a touching tribute to the late Princess Diana.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed in an adorable snap that they are expecting their second child together, a little brother or sister for Archie, who turns two in May.
The couple’s trusted friend and journalist, Omid Scobie, took to his Twitter account this morning to reveal the nod to Prince Harry’s late mother in their announcement.
Alongside a photo of the front page of The Express from 1984, Omid wrote: “A touching tribute for the Sussexes to announce their exciting news on #ValentinesDay.

Announcing the happy news today, a spokesperson for Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."
The couple shared a black and white picture of themselves under a tree, taken by Misan Harriman, with Harry resting his hand on Meghan's head as she lies in his lap cradling her bump.

Buckingham Palace also released a statement wishing the couple well, saying: “Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and entire family [are] ‘delighted’ and wish them well.”
The palace also confirmed that family had been told before today’s announcement.
It comes after Meghan shared the heartbreaking news of her miscarriage in November last year.
In an essay for the New York Times, she wrote: "I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second."
Meghan was praised for the ‘brave’ move she took in penning the essay, with many women who have gone through the same thing claiming it makes them feel ‘less alone’.
