More from TVLine

What’s in store for Grey’s Anatomy’s Amelia Shepherd this season? Also, will she ever find love again? — Nicole
When TVLine recently spoke with showrunner Meg Marinis, we mentioned how surprised we were by Monica’s late-season hookup with Winston, when it had looked for so long like she was headed for a romance with Amelia. “We’re all for the deliberate left turns!” the boss laughed. “We love having Natalie [Morales] in the fold at the hospital.” As to the question at hand, Marinis wouldn’t say exactly what the future holds in store for Amelia but did allow that Monica’s flirtation with her — and tryst with her former brother-in-law — “will definitely need to be addressed.”

Will we find out who Carol said was back on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon? — Len
Did she actually say someone was back when she got Daryl on the radio in Season 1…? Whether she did — the signal was staticky — Melissa McBride promises that in Season 2 “we’ll understand exactly what she said that blipped out in that call and come to understand what she was trying to convey. It’s actually a large part of the story and is part of the reason for Carol seeking Daryl out.”

The Disney Channel show Hailey’s On It! was just removed from Disney+. Does this mean the show’s officially over? Many people have been assuming it is, since the Season 1 finale aired in May. — Miracle
Many people assumed correctly — I can confirm that Hailey’s mission has ended. The animated series about “a resourceful teenager on a mission to complete every item on her long list of challenging (and sometimes impractical) tasks in order to save the world” will not be back for Season 2.

Any word on when the TV series Nautilus, originally planned for Disney, will surface on AMC? –Drew
I asked around, and the current buzz is that the 10-episode live-action series inspired by the Jules Verne novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is now on track for a 2025 premiere.

Any scoop on the interns on NBC’s Brilliant Minds? –Adriana
“As our interns team up and tackle medical cases, they’ll be pushed to their limits and quickly learn a lot about each other and themselves,” showrunner Michael Grassi tells Inside Line. “Working at Bronx General is not for the faint of heart, and it’ll be interesting to see how this foursome starts to lean on each other — or push each other away — when things get tough.” Fun ratings fact that just trickled in: Brilliant Minds’ premiere audience is now 9.2 million (across all platforms), and it’s the third-best NBC show to ever launch on Peacock (behind Found and Night Court).

Do you have any info on why Spellbound‘s second season on Hulu didn’t premiere on the 20th as it was meant to? –Sarah
As happens with the occasional, low-profile streaming series, it was quietly moved, and at the last minute. Season 2 will now drop Friday, Oct. 11.

Is there any information on the episode count for NCIS and #TheFBIs will have in the upcoming seasons? –Chris
The three FBI shows (which return Tuesday, Oct. 15) each have “full-season orders,” I am told. Similarly, when I asked NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder if we were going back to the usual 20-22 count, he hedged on nailing down a precise number, “But I will say this — we’re going to have a nice season.”

Any idea when the new Matlock show will be seen in Australia? I was huge NCIS: LA fan and anything Eric Christian Olsen puts his talent to always works. –Kathleen
Matlock, which counts ECO among its EPs, is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ Australia on Friday, Oct. 18.

Anything on the SEAL Team series finale? –Tara
I have to give props to this coming Sunday’s SEAL Team series finale — it uncorks some closing twists that will sneak up on you. So hold onto your cargo plane seats!

Is there a release date for P-Valley Season 3? –Anonymous
It has now been well over a year since the Season 2 finale aired, but I asked around and a return date for the Starz drama has not yet been set.

Do you know if we’ll have to wait for the Agatha All Along finale to find out who Teen is? –Deb
I cannot speak to exactly when Teen’s identity will be revealed, but I do know that in Episode 4 (dropping Oct. 2), you will get a big clue about who he isn’t. That is, if a certain someone is to be believed….

Is there any scoop on Fire Country, specifically for Bodiela? –Emily
Bode and Gabriela will have a lot to talk about — including, “Um, so hey, why did you show up at the church…?” — as they tend to the season-opening helicopter crash scene. (Diego has a loaded question to drop into that already-intense conversation, as well….)

Will we get more seasons of Condor on MGM+? I thought I read somewhere there were possible plans for Season 3, but that was years ago. –CT
You did read that about Season 3, but the “good” news, I suppose, is that there remains no news, either way.

I’m a huge fan of FBI‘s Antonio Vargas (played by Dexter alum David Zayas), is there any chance we’re gonna be seeing him again soon? –Joan
“We’re all huge fans of David Zayas,” showrunner Mike Weiss replied when I delivered your Q. “His portrayal of Antonio Vargas was outstanding and a highlight in the series. While I can’t say for sure if he’ll return, we love the character, too, and we’re always open to bringing back favorites from the FBI universe.”

How many episodes do we get of the current season of Tell Me Lies? –Gia
Eight! Landing the finale on Oct. 16.

Is there any chance we might see a true #OneChicago Crossover again this season?  They haven’t done one since pre-pandemic and I’m anxious for the teams to team up again. –Matt
“There are always talks…,” P.D. boss Gwen Sigan told TVLine regarding the hot, three-way crossover topic. “It will just be about if it all aligns and works out. But yeah, hopefully.”

What can Chicago P.D. fans expect for Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) this season? –Dave
During our fall preview Q&A, showrunner Gwen Sigan teased “a Torres episode that I think is really impactful, is really interesting for his character, and is something I don’t think we’ve really seen him do yet.”

I know you answered this a few weeks ago but I was really wondering if there has been an update on when UpTV is going to start running Heartland Season 17. It is way later than when past seasons have started running on the cable channel and I am getting a bit nervous that they are going to keep it an exclusive on their streaming channel and I may not get to see it. –David
Sorry, but there are still no updates on the latest season’s linear run. Let’s all consider this question un-answered until there is an actual date to report, thanks!
