MasterChef's Poh Ling Yeow, 50, stuns fans with topless selfie: 'Glowing'

MasterChef judge Poh Ling Yeow surprised fans on Wednesday when she shared two topless selfies on Instagram. The celebrity chef, 50, uploaded the photos while also sharing the surprising admission that she finds it very difficult to relax.

"Well, whadya know. I finally got my act together and having a day off," she began her lengthy caption. "It’s a no joke a scary concept for my brain type because my M. O. is either work psycho or pretend to relax but be testing a recipe and re-potting 11 plants while writing 7 types of to do lists."

She continued, "Especially now I’ve turned 50, getting all my creative projects expressed before I cark it feels urgent! There’s also the hereditary factor and I get a lot of it from my Aunty Kim. She has been a homemaker for all her life but even with mum gone and just her and dad in the house, she has a schedule like the Prime Minister’s.

"I have so many friends who also confess they don’t know how to relax and feel wracking guilt for resting properly. With technology life is on fast forward and we can’t possibly think we can get away with turning up our processing speeds up in such an unnatural way, and there be no fall out. So one of this year’s priorities is learning to rest. Can we do it? Let’s say yes!"

Chrissie Swan was quick to respond, writing, "Yes, yes, yes. I find it very difficult to do nothing unless I am away from my house where I can’t be tempted to 'just sort a drawer/try my hand at crostoli/put on a load of washing etc etc etc.'"

"Resting is so damn tiring though," one user responded.

"Glowing - fifty’s looking good on ya 😍," a third said.

"YES! I seem to only have two modes as well: either full manic balls-to-the-wall busy or asleep 😂 I need to find the instructions to my brain because this electric meatball is SPICY," someone else quipped.

"Give it a good hot crack Poh, it’s the only way to start!" another said.

Poh is no doubt preparing for a huge year as she steps up as a MasterChef judge following the shock death of Jock Zonfrillo last year.

She described it as a "thrilling, full circle moment" after appearing on the show as a contestant several times.

"A big part of me will always be standing on the other side with the contestants and I hope when they look to me, they see proof you don’t have to win to win," she wrote on Instagram when the news was announced.
