MasterChef fans go wild for Poh Ling Yeow in new trailer for 2024 season: 'Can't wait'

MasterChef Australia fans have been given their first taste of the 2024 season, and they are loving it.

While Melissa Leong announced last year that she would be stepping back from MasterChef to prioritise her role on Dessert Masters, her co-host Andy Allen returns this year to continue the legacy of the late Jock Zonfrillo.

He will be joined by season one runner-up Poh Ling Yeow, food critic and journalist Sofia Levin, and multi-Michelin Star award-winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.

The show returns on Monday, April 22. Poh posted the teaser to her Instagram with the caption, "[A] lil taste of what’s to come 😜. I can’t wait 💥."

"You’re going to be so awesome to watch as a judge! I can’t wait," one user commented.

"Kudos @pohlingyeow... your smile still lights up the kitchen 🙌," another said.

"Cannot wait. Already your infectious personality is going to leave its mark on the show, I can tell," a third wrote.

"Waiting very patiently for this to start," someone else added.

The trailer offers a glimpse into several of the show's filming locations, including Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market, Bendigo, Ballarat and even Hong Kong.

Jamie Oliver will appear on the show, as will fan favourites such as Adriano Zumbo and Anna Polyviou, but fans were especially excited to see Vincent Yeow Lim, AKA DimSimLim.
