Masked Singer fans furious Kate Miller-Heidke 'robbed' in finale
The Masked Singer fans have taken to social media after Bushranger’s surprise win on Monday night, with many claiming fan favourite Kate Miller-Heidke - Queen - was ‘robbed’.
The epic grand finale saw the final three stars unmasked, including Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson and Eddie Perfect, who placed third, but fans were quick to vent online after Kate missed out on a proverbial crown yet again.
Singer-songwriter Kate has been been nominated for an ARIA Award on 13 occasions, but is yet to win one, something one of the clues “13 times I’ve been a bridesmaid but never the bride” alluded to.
And her fans are clearly still reeling after she also missed out after an incredible performance when she represented Australia at Eurovision.

“It’s offensive to me that not only was Kate Miller-Heidke robbed at Eurovision, but now on the Masked Singer,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“How does Kate Miller-Heidke get robbed again? This is so awks with the judges knowing she should’ve won,” another agreed.
While a third lamented: “Nooooo. Queen deserves it so much more. Every song she performed was new and unique. @kmillerheidke was robbed!”
Instead it was Bonnie Anderson who took out the crown for The Masked Singer Australia 2020.
The competition is the second major Aussie talent contest win for Bonnie who nabbed first prize on Australia's Got Talent in 2007 at age 12
After the star’s Wikipedia page was updated with information about ‘her time’ on the talent show, fans were convinced she was the one underneath the Bushranger mask, though others pointed out anyone could have tampered with the page, which was later updated to exclude the damming information.
Other guesses for the star’s identity included former Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines, whose daughter Deni was a contestant on last year’s series, as well as Australian Idol runner-up Jessica Mauboy.
In third place was Eddie Perfect underneath the Frillneck mask. Eddie Perfect, who was based in Melbourne where the show was being filmed, was fans' number one pick for the man behind the Frillneck mask.
Early on, Frillneck said he's "not someone who works nine to five", which is believed to be in reference to the fact Eddie was going to join the cast of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 The Musical before the pandemic struck.
