Martha Stewart Reveals If She'd Be a WAG After Attending Over 30 Super Bowls
Martha Stewart has been to so many Super Bowls that she’s lost count of the number of NFL championship games she’s attended.
And it doesn’t stop there—the lifestyle guru claims to only attend the biggest games in sports, quipping in a recent interview that she’s “a hero worshipper, so I only watch football at the Super Bowl. Or the final, the playoffs, and the Super Bowl. Same with basketball. Same with golf. I only watch the championships.”
It seems like that eye for excellence may also extend to her dating life, as evidenced by her responses in a recent conversation with Glamour.
When asked how she would be as a WAG, or partner of a professional athlete, she said she’d be “fabulous” at it before declaring “those guys are nice and big and muscly, and they’re probably fun.”
She continued, explaining that she “can cook a nice meal. Take care of them. It’d be great.”
While Stewart didn’t specify which, if any, players she has her eye on, she did caveat that her “house might be a little delicate for a football player. Basketball player would be probably better for me.”
This isn’t the first time Stewart has spoken about what she is, and isn’t, looking for in a partner.
In a November appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she said she would never be in a relationship with “an idle man,” as they “don’t interest” her, declaring, “I wouldn’t think of it!”
Stewart also spoke candidly about her relationship ethos, wherein she doesn’t put much weight into her partner’s feelings. “I don’t care so much about how you’re feeling, I care about what you’re doing. And it’s always been like that, I always care about ‘what are people doing with themselves?’” she explained.
