MAFS' Susie Bradley engaged to Todd Carney after surprise proposal
Married at First Sight’s Susie Bradley and former NRL star Todd Carney have officially confirmed a host of rumours that had surrounded their relationship over the past few months.
Reports had already surfaced the reality star and Todd were expecting a baby and that marriage was definitely on the cards, and now the league player has confirmed both in a sweet gender reveal video shared on Instagram, that actually contained a second surprise.
In the clip shared on New Year’s Eve, Susie’s daughter Baby announces, “we’ve got some exciting news”, before giving the footballer a tiny ball to kick.
It exploded on impact revealing blue powder - and the news the couple are indeed expecting a baby boy together.
He then surprised Susie, by pulling a ring from his pants, before he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Susie first surprised her fans by hinting she was engaged to her on-again-off-again boyfriend in a clip shared to her Instagram back in October.
At the time, the mum referred to the former NRL star as her “sexy fiancé”, while filming him doing a television interview.

Then in December, it was a former teammate of Todd’s who let slip the news they were adding to the family.
During an interview on the 257 Collective podcast, Mitchell Pearce, who played with Todd during his time with the Sydney Roosters, revealed Todd was set to become a dad.
“[Todd is] going well now, he’s killing it, having a baby and everything. He’s on fire,” Mitchell said.
Australia was first introduced to Susie when she joined Married at First Sight as one of four intruders during the 2019 season, and was paired with barista Billy Vincent.
But throughout their brief time on the show, Susie made it no secret she preferred the ‘bad boy’ type.
Reports of her relationship with Todd first surfaced the morning after Valentine’s Day 2019 when they were spotted in an arm-in-arm embrace outside a Brisbane hotel.
