Married At First Sight's Jess Power called out for Photoshop fail: 'Oh dear'

UK-based Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has been called out for Photoshopping one of her Instagram photos of her having a beer with some friends.

As noted by Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck, the former TV bride appears to have edited out what looks to be a vape pen from a snap of her and her boyfriend, Connor Thompson.

The pair were enjoying a drink with two pals at a pub in Manchester where Jess now calls home after relocating from Australia in October.

While Jess, 30, shared the pic — sans vape pen — to her account on December 12, podcast host Connor posted the original, unedited version back on November 22.

In Connor's version, there appears to be a rectangular yellow object on the bar table in the right foreground however in Jess' upload, it's gone.

A second similarly shaped pink item next to Jess' beer has also seemingly been edited out, though it's not clear why as vaping is not banned in the UK.

"Never let your boyfriend post the unedited version," Celeb Spellcheck captioned the pair of photos.

One follower commented, "Oh dear," while another added, "He’s in trouble."

Meanwhile, over on Jess' account, her fans were quick to compliment her relaxed and happy vibe since moving to England.

"You are looking so content it's so good to see," wrote a fan, to which the former Gold Coast local replied, "Thank you! I am feeling very much myself here and I’m absolutely loving finding new friends and making memories."

Jess also clarified that the photo was a throwback when another of her followers asked why she wasn't isolating following her positive Covid diagnosis a week and a half earlier.

Her manager Max Markson told the Herald Sun that Jess had caught coronavirus while filming the reality TV series Celebs Go Dating in London.

He confirmed that she was isolating at her home in Manchester.
