It seems Kim Kardashian’s obsession with the Royals now extends to her wedding - the 33-year old reality star is reportedly planning to copy Duchess Catherine’s Alexander McQueen gown for her upcoming nuptials.
Insiders are adamant that Kim’s close friend Riccardo Tisci, creative director of Givenchy, has been briefed to create a “demure princess” dress with matching tiara for the star’s big day, which is set to take place sometime next year.
"Kim is absolutely obsessed with everything Kate and William do,” reported Grazia UK. “Kim loves Kate's style and while she is planning on several gowns for her big day, she wants the one for the ceremony to look something like Kate's dress.”

While Kardashian’s wardrobe has definitely changed since she started dating Kanye West, we don’t think it reflects Duchess Catherine’s elegant, timeless style just yet.
“Kanye has been urging Kim to tone down her make-up and style her hair in a more conservative style, like Kate," a source told The Daily Star. "And it's not just Kate's regal look that Kanye wants Kim to mimic. He's also told her that she could learn a thing or two about poise and sophistication from Kate."
It seems the dress isn’t the only thing the couple want to steal from the Royals, with Grazia reporting, “they think it would be really cool to have gold thrones to sit on during the reception. They have already got a Buckingham Palace-themed room in their new home, which they are using as inspiration.”
While we can only imagine what this event will be like, it’s a safe bet to say there will only ever be one Royal wedding.
