Mandy Moore Shares Emotional Update After Attending the 2025 Grammys

Amid a devastating beginning to 2025, Mandy Moore is making sure to support her husband Taylor Goldsmith on his major career achievement.

In early January, the This Is Us alum and the Dawes musician shared that their L.A. home burned down in the Eaton wildfire. Initially sharing that the couple, their three children (sons August "Gus" and Oscar "Ozzie" and infant daughter Louise "Lou")and their pets were all safe on Instagram, Mandy has kept quiet about the aftermath of the devastating loss. Additionally, Taylor gave a first-hand account to Rolling Stone of how it affected his band, as his music studio and brother Griffin's home was destroyed as well.

Well, Taylor and Griffin have been using their platform to help other victims of the Los Angeles wildfires by performing in a number of different events. After performing in the FireAid benefit concert on January 30, they surprised attendees at the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2 by being part of the ceremony's opening performance. Singing alongside Sheryl Crow, Brittany Howard, Brad Paisley and St. Vincent, they performed a hopeful cover of Randy Newman's "I Love L.A." for everyone watching in-person and at home.

Mandy was on hand to support Taylor in his heartfelt gig by being his plus-one at the star-studded awards show. She later went on Instagram to share her feelings watching him perform for an important cause.

"These last few weeks have been an unfathomable blur of all of the emotions," she wrote. "I've never held such immense gratitude coupled with unspeakable grief at the same time. In the midst of so much darkness and uncertainty, seeing @dawestheband open THE GRAMMYS and get to share their heart, spirit, musicality and DEEP love for this city of ours with the world at large, it just makes me want to burst."

"No one is more deserving of this moment than Griff and Taylor," she added. "And they met the moment — I say that as a fan, not just a wife... Thanks for a forever memory, @recordingacademy!! I love you and am your biggest fan @taylordawesgoldsmith. We 🩷 LA!!"

When fans saw Mandy support Taylor amid one of the toughest chapters of their lives, they were equally touched.

"Such a beautiful moment — we were all in tears," one person wrote. "Awww this is awesome," another penned. "So exciting, so proud, congratulations 👏," a different follower added.
