MAFS' Tahnee Cook reveals bizarre detail in split from Ollie Skelton

After announcing their split on social media on Wednesday night, Married At First Sight’s Tahnee Cook has now shared details about her and Ollie Skelton’s current living situation.

The reality star shared on her Chuffed podcast on Thursday that she and Ollie will continue living together in their Sydney apartment for the foreseeable future.

“Obviously this is not normal by any means, but as you guys know Ollie moved from Perth to Sydney so we will actually be living together for, I don’t know, maybe a couple months? We’ll see,” she told listeners.

“This housing crisis, cost of living crisis is not cute. So yeah, I don’t even know how to navigate that, to be honest. So hopefully Ollie and I are just going to be alright because it’s just hectic.”

Tahnee went on to say that everything is “all good” and she and Ollie are focused on “navigating this new territory for us”.

Tahnee was flooded with supportive messages from her co-stars after she shared a statement on Instagram announcing her and Ollie’s split.

“Just as I share the highlights of my life on here, it’s only fair for me to share when things aren’t always fun,” she wrote. “Sadly, Ollie and I have decided to part ways. Our lives are taking us in different directions and we feel at this stage it’s the best decision for us.

“From meeting as strangers who got “married”, to genuinely finding love, I’m pretty proud of the time we’ve shared. Our journey together has been such a roller coaster but sometimes relationships just don’t work out - no matter how much you want them to - and that’s okay.

“I’m so thankful for what these last 16 months has taught me, and for the genuinely supportive community I’ve found on here. Break ups are never easy but heartbreak is worth it in the pursuit of love.”

Who else is still together from season 10?

Tahnee and Ollie’s split comes just a couple of months after Melinda Willis and Layton Mills announced they had decided to “take time apart” and separate after one year together.

“We still care very deeply for each other and this doesn't mean our lives can't come back together, but as of now, we think this decision is for the best,” they wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, co-stars Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis are still going strong after they went public with their relationship in May.

The pair moved into a luxury $3.2 million townhouse in Sydney's affluent Balmain in August and surprised fans when they dressed up as each other for Halloween.
