They were reportedly ‘reeling’ after being snubbed by the Logies, but now the stars of Married At First Sight have shown organisers what they’re missing as the awards show takes place.

While the country’s most famous faces prepped for television’s night of nights, Jessika Power and Ines Basic were elsewhere, after being famously left off the invite list.

The controversial duo instead partied at a Brisbane bar, almost 100 kilometres from the event’s five-star backdrop at The Star on the Gold Coast.

Jess used the outing to debut her new, dyed-pink hair before she and Ines were snapped enjoying several cocktails at the busy venue.

The 28-year-old later uploaded a snap matching the new ‘do with a casual look, captioning the post ‘cocktails in my active wear’.

Similarly, Ines uploaded a shot of herself enjoying the sunny Brisbane afternoon, telling followers she ‘lives’ at the day’s chosen drinking spot.

Just last week, reports began to emerge the pair - along with several of their co-stars - had been snubbed by the Logies, despite starring in arguably the year’s biggest TV hit.

Ines, in particular, was reportedly ‘reeling’ after realising the news, according to news.com.au.

However, some of the MAFS cast, including the only surviving couples Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli, and Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant are expected to attend the star-studded event.

Heidi Latcham, Nic Jovanovic, Elizabeth Sobinoff and Mike Gunner reportedly got a gig, leaving many to conclude the show’s ‘villains’ were purposely looked over.

Those who were passed over include both cheating couples Jess Power and Dan Webb, and Ines Basic and Sam Ball.

Some of the show’s biggest drama-makers, many were shocked that Ines and Jess didn’t get a look in, but at least one of the two says she was expecting it.

Jess told Daily Mail that the snub came as no surprise.

“I actually didn't expect an invite. I'm so controversial and enjoy a little trouble so I would probably cause a stir,” she said.
