MAFS: Photos reveal truth behind Jessica and Daniel's dramatic arrival
Just when Married At First Sight fans thought Jessica Seracino and Daniel Holmes' relationship couldn’t get any worse after their honeymoon, tensions reached boiling point when they attended their first dinner party of the experiment on Wednesday night.
The intruders began the evening with an extremely awkward car ride to the event where they bickered over the air conditioner and the 30-year-old groom’s sensitivity.
“It’s almost evident that you hate me,” he remarked, to which she replied, “I don’t hate you”.
“Like, it feels like you hate me,” Daniel continued. “I genuinely feel like you dislike me as a human. I feel like we’re going in there as enemies, to be honest.”
As if that wasn’t already enough drama for one episode, the 27-year-old bride proceeded to slam the door on her partner when they eventually arrived.
“F**king hell,” Daniel muttered. “Here we go.”

However, Yahoo Lifestyle can now reveal behind the scenes details behind the dramatic moment after obtaining photos taken on October 18.
The images show that the incident actually had to be filmed twice after Jessica dropped her microphone the first time, meaning she had to get back in the car and slam the door on her ‘husband’ once more.
‘Why would she say that?’
The incident comes shortly after the couple hit a rough patch at their wedding reception when Daniel stormed off to rant to producers about his new ‘wife’.
The personal trainer was clearly upset when Jessica made a comment about what she would like at her “real-life” wedding, and he quickly walked away to ‘go to the toilet’ and meet with producers.
“She just said when she has her real wedding she’ll wear blah blah blah. I’m not trying to overthink it, but this is very, very real to me,” he said.
“Oh my f**king god… Why would she say that? What is this then? Is it fake? I’m not going to pretend with her if I know that she doesn’t think it’s serious.”
Daniel ended up confronting Jessica about the comment, leaving her to explain that she would want an “actual wedding” with her family and friends in the future if they worked out.
“It just threw me off a bit,” he admitted, to which she replied, “I think you should ask me first then.
“Like, calm down, why freak out and leave and not speak to me and ask me what I meant? I think you should definitely try because it’s not that easily received when someone is sprinting out of the place and cracking the s**ts and I have no idea why.”
Married At First Sight airs at 7pm on Sunday and 7:30pm on Monday to Wednesday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
