MAFS' Olivia Frazer's incredible transformation after losing 25kg

One of the brides on Married At First Sight has revealed that she turned to gastric sleeve surgery after struggling as an overweight teen.

Olivia Frazer said she weighed about 95kgs and was a size 18 before having the surgery in 2016 when she was 22.

"I tried to be as confident as I could on the surface but deep down I knew that everyone was staring at the fat girl trying to fit into the skirt!" she said on MAFS.

"I think my relationship with men and the way that I've allowed myself to be treated revolves around my weight and how that made me feel about myself," she added.

"I felt like I had to settle for whatever I could get and I did. I settled for whatever I thought I deserved which is awful because I definitely deserved a lot better."

Olivia, now 28, weighs a healthy 70kg and is a size 10-12 but she revealed she lost too much weight at one stage when she developed gallstones as a result of the surgery.

"The stomach pains meant I couldn't eat. It was gross – all my bones were hanging out," she told Olivia told Woman's Day, revealing she dropped to 45kg.

"Recovery was instant. I think I ate a steak dinner as soon as it came out [of hospital]," she added.

Now she is happy with how she looks, she has gained some much-needed confidence.

"It's changed my life for the better in every single way,"she said.

"If I go for a walk with my friends, they aren't concerned about me making it up the hill or not."

While she has walked down the aisle and married a stranger on MAFS, she has come close to getting hitched before when she got engaged after going on a date with someone she met online.

She told the publication she went on a Hinge date with a guy, who got down on one knee and proposed two hours into their night.

Olivia said everything went well for three week but she broke things off after thinking 'This is too crazy'.

"He's still one of my favourite people," she said.

And while some grooms are not very kind to their new wife on Married At First Sight, tradie Jackson certainly got the feels when he first saw his new bride Olivia.

"Obviously I was hoping for all the chemistry I could get and I was very lucky that I got it," Jackson told 9Entertainment.

"From that first sight where she was just beautiful and then that sexual chemistry came straight away from that first kiss, so it was just sparks flying left, right and centre.

"It felt like we'd known each other forever, not just a couple of hours."

And the feeling was mutual. "I definitely did not go into Married At First Sight thinking that I would be so lucky as to instantly click with somebody," Olivia revealed.

We have our fingers crossed for these two...
