'A lot of stress': MAFS' Lizzie and Seb cancel plans to move in together
Married At First Sight stars Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus revealed at the final dinner party that they would be moving to Sydney's Dee Why together in January, but those plans have now been cancelled.
While the pair was set to move to Sydney, their rental property fell through and now the coronavirus pandemic has put their plans on hold indefinitely and they're now in a long-distance relationship.
Lizzie has been forced to stay in Sydney for work purposes, while Seb is in Adelaide.
Taking to Instagram, Lizzie addressed the situation in her Stories where she revealed she was currently self-isolating after returning to Sydney fro Adelaide recently.
"People are like, 'Why are you not at Seb's place?' I was there last week but got a phone call that I had to be in Sydney for work," she said.
"So I left South Australia. I'm now in quarantine. I have to do my work thing and then I'll have to be in quarantine again [when I go back to Adelaide]. That's just life. Coronavirus puts a lot of stress on a lot of different aspects. Yeah, it's hard.
"Obviously you have everything to do with MAFS and a new relationship, and then you have to go back and forth."
Lizzie continued, "Seb was moving to Sydney, but that's a lot to get organised and doesn't happen overnight. He is based in South Australia.
"I thought I'd be based in Adelaide for the time being but my work stuff is in New South Wales. Coronavirus has [had] a huge effect on a lot of people."
Speaking to TV Week, Seb explained they're still looking for a place together, "We had a place sorted in Dee Why, but that fell apart... so we're still looking."
