MAFS' Jayden barely recognisable with short hair in throwback snaps

Jayden first started growing out his hair way back in 2018.

If there’s one trend to emerge from this year’s season of Married At First Sight (that isn’t shocking dinner party behaviour or grooms projecting their internal trauma onto their partner), it’s men rocking long hair.

From Jayden Eynaud and Jack Dunkley to recent intruder Stephen Stewart, an impressive head of hair was clearly on the criteria for this year’s participants.

Jayden’s ‘do in particular has caused plenty of discussion on social media, with some fans saying they love his long locks while others have called his hairstyle “truly awful”.

“Jayden please fix your hair you would literally be the perfect dude with some short back and sides,” one viewer commented.

“Jayden - take my advice, ask your brother Mitch which hairdresser he goes to, cos the Mulan man bun is truly awful and your bro has a magnificent head of hair,” someone else shared.

After doing some social media stalking, it appears Jayden first started growing out his hair way back in 2018 when he was 20 years old.

Photos of the groom with a much shorter haircut highlight just how similar he looks to his brother Mitch, who appeared on MAFS in 2021.

What would it take for Jayden to cut his hair?

Jayden recently told Daily Mail that he would have to be paid an enormous amount of money to cut his hair after growing it out for the past six years.

“People always ask me what the price is to cut my hair. I say $500,000,” he remarked. “$250,000 for me and give $250,000 for charity.”

In the same interview, his partner Eden Harper made the shocking claim that Jayden doesn’t actually wash his hair.

“Well, I do wash it,” Jayden was quick to jump in. “Like every fortnight, once every couple of weeks.”

“Yeah, exactly,” Eden responded.
