MAFS EXCLUSIVE: The real reason Jack and Tori haven't been intimate on the show

After Married At First Sight's Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams both admitted to having large sexual appetites on their wedding day at the start of the season, it seemed like it would be only a matter of time before the two became intimate.

However, much to the surprise and, it would seem, annoyance, of the other participants and the viewers, the pair have abstained from having sex so far (although they did get tattoos together which you could argue is far more meaningful... or ill-advised.)

Now, an insider has told Yahoo Lifestyle that it might have been the constant pressure that inspired the lovebirds to hold off on consummating their 'marriage'.

“The constant requests for updates became annoying and some of Jack's mates are blaming that pressure on why he didn’t just get down to business earlier," an insider exclusively told Yahoo Lifestyle.

"I think a lot of people have said Jack is a 'chauvinistic pig' but he really wanted to protect Tori from anything too intrusive."

According to the insider, the sexual relationships between the couples are always a point of interest and the fact Jack didn’t sleep with Tori straight away had everyone on the show and behind the scenes wanting constant updates.

"It kind of felt like the first and last question the two of them were getting from everyone," they said.

Viewers themselves have seen Jack and Tori's sex life be brought up constantly as dinner party and commitment ceremony fodder for the other participants, with the other couples questioning why two people who have said they are both highly sexual are not exploring that side of their relationship.

The insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle that they finally took their relationship to the next level after the family visits (towards the end of the experiment), saying: "It was super awkward because neither he nor Tori felt comfortable with letting producers into their accommodation. The last thing they wanted to do was unpack their time between the sheets with a camera crew."

Fair enough!

Meanwhile, Jack's ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade, whom Jack broke up with right before going on MAFS, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday evening to claim that she slept with the personal trainer when he returned home from filming.

“When he says he's into his wife but he comes home and sleeps with me and proceeds to break my heart again,” she wrote. “Spoiler alert media come at me.

Courtney went on to claim that Tori knows she and Jack hooked up after the show but she “doesn’t care”.
