MAFS’ Coco slams Sydney lockdown: ‘This is getting ridiculous’
Coco Stedman, the lively Married At First Sight star who recently shocked fans with an unrecognisable throwback photo, has taken to social media to slam Sydney’s recent lockdown.
The pilates studio owner posted on Instagram to highlight the hypocrisy of the lockdown, which is causing the fitness industry to suffer.
“Me wanting to rant so hard about this lockdown’s effect on the fitness industry,” she captioned a selfie video.
“If you were so worried about the Delta strain why did you let planeloads of people fly in when we are in fact an island and it didn’t have to be this way.
“But just not ready for the swarms of DMs sticking up for repatriation.”

The post, which was shared with her 100k+ followers, shows the former TV bride looking visibly frustrated while the rap song ‘Shut Up’ by Stormzy plays in the background.
In a follow-up video, Coco took aim at the NSW Premier, asking: “Look Gladys it is what it is, but where the f**k is Jobkeeper?”
“And look, that ain’t even about me,” she captioned another Instagram story. “That’s about my staff. For all the families out there. This is getting ridiculous.”
Due to the lockdown, the 30-year-old was forced to temporarily close her pilates studio in Miranda.
After recording a further 44 locally acquired cases on Friday, NSW has announced a number of new COVID restrictions.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has tightened the rules to curb the spread of the highly infectious Delta variant, with the restrictions coming into place from 5pm today.
New restrictions for Greater Sydney

Coco’s social media post comes shortly after Rebel Wilson expressed her own frustration with Sydney’s lockdown.
The actress, who is currently filming a new movie in the US, recently took to Instagram to blast the restrictions.
“Sydney WTF!!!” the 41-year-old captioned a selfie.
“You can’t keep locking down as a strategy,” she added in another post.
Rebel also shared a photo from her mother Sue of a bare supermarket toilet paper shelf, writing: “Mum took this at Woolworths”.
