MAFS' Alessandra shocks cast with X-rated request: 'Taboo'

The Married At First Sight brides and grooms were left shocked by the request.

MAFS' resident sexpert Alessandra Rampolla left the cast shocked when she suggested they try several X-rated acts during the show's infamous Intimacy Week. She kicked off the week with a chat with the brides, sharing how they can add sex toys to the bedroom to spice things up.

Sharing one toy that features both internal and external vibration, Alessandra said, "This toy is an integration. This is for inside and out. It's very arousing. You will discover things about yourself."

Melissa Sheppard was one of the only brides who seemed excited by the vibrator, saying, "Oh, I like that one!"

Claire Nomarhas also described the session as "super empowering", however, some brides were embarrassed by the idea, with Alyssa Barmonde looking shocked and telling the group, "That scares the s**t out of me."

"It's a big taboo!" Alessandra finished the sentence for her. "It's something you can get over. I can assure you," she added, encouraging everyone to give the toys a try.

"I felt like I was watching like a rated R movie or something," she told the cameras at one point.

The grooms, meanwhile, were also left shocked when Alessandra suggested they explore anal stimulation, saying they should "expand the possibility of the sensations you can experience".

While a few of the grooms said they'd never try it, the sexpert added that it is "a lot more intense and a lot more pleasurable" for men than it is for women.

Jesse Burford joked, "Woah, I was like a sponge soaking up all the water, but eventually if you keep pouring water on the sponge, it just doesn't soak anything up anymore, because it's completely full. So, I kind of feel like a full sponge and I think I need another day to process it all."

"Alessandra has totally flummoxed the boys at the workshop," one viewer jokingly tweeted.

"I am LOVING how open Alessandra is making the dialogue about sex and male butt play on prime time TV," another added.

"Every man in Australia should be schooled by Alessandra," a third quipped.
