They’ve been one of the fan favourites from the get go, but now it looks like things may not end up all sunshine and roses for Married at First Sight couple Aleks and Ivan.

MAFS bride Aleksandra Markovic has been caught in an online gaffe which hints at a very unhappy ending between her and Ivan, angering fans of the show.

Aleks was chatting to fellow MAFS star Stacey Hampton in the comments section of a MAFS Funny post featuring paparazzi photos of them on a double date with husbands Ivan and Michael reportedly taken after Sunday night’s commitment ceremony was filmed.

Stacey commented in full few of fans, “I just vomited,” which is little surprise really given the cheating scandal staring her husband Michael that unfolded on the reality series last week.

But it was Aleks’ comment a little later in the post, in response to Stacey, that really had fans shocked.

“I’m feeling ill as well? What were we thinking?” Aleks wrote.

“We must have been losing our minds! Or maybe just falling for the ***boy lies and manipulation.”

Stacey simply replied, “Nailed it, babe.”

Viewers were outraged at the spoiler, but also clearly disappointed that Aleks and Ivan appear to not last beyond the show.

“This hurts my heart,” was one comment.

“Way to ruin a show they shouldn't give anything away,” another upset fan wrote.

A third asked: “Why bother watching the show anymore?”

“The cast have ruined this whole season. There's no point watching because we already know what happens,” a fourth person agreed.

It’s not the first time a MAFS bride has hinted at the outcome of the series before viewers have had a chance to see the drama unfold on their screens.

On V-Day Stacey was caught tagging a friend in an anti-Valentine’s Day meme along with a one-word comment, “same”.

The since-deleted comment was shared in screengrabs online and shows the mum of two tagging a friend underneath a photo of a lonely-heart’s romance plans.

In response to the question, ‘What are you doing on Valentine’s Day?’, the young man shared a quote which read: “Sitting in my room alone listening to music, eating chocolates and crying.”

“I’m guessing the marriage didn’t work then,” a fan piped up, to which Stacey just sent a sad face emoji.
