MAFS 2024: Where is the couples retreat filmed?

The luxurious venue comes with a price tag of $5000 per night.

If the constant tears, drama, and premeditated confrontation on the latest season of Married at First Sight have you feeling a bit exhausted, you're not alone. Channel Nine seems to agree, as they've whisked away the remaining couples to a stunning couples retreat that's sure to provide a fresh environment for ripping each other apart... in a new postcode!

It's all happening at the breathtaking Hinterland House in Byron Bay. If the picturesque scenes and glamorous atmosphere are anything to go by, it's set to be a dramatic yet dreamy change of pace for our lovebirds. Alternatively, it could serve as the perfect secluded venue for a cathartic scream session.

Past tensions

This isn't the first time that Married At First Sight has had a retreat for its couples. Season nine's retreat famously established plenty of drama for the remainder of the experiment, with bride Domenica Calarco accused of a glassing incident. It's a reminder that no matter the location, the drama always seems to find its way in.

However, with the stunning setting of Hinterland House, let's hope that this year's retreat is a little more peaceful.
