MAFS 2024: Where is the couples retreat filmed?

The luxurious venue comes with a price tag of $5000 per night.

If the constant tears, drama, and premeditated confrontation on the latest season of Married at First Sight have you feeling a bit exhausted, you're not alone. Channel Nine seems to agree, as they've whisked away the remaining couples to a stunning couples retreat that's sure to provide a fresh environment for ripping each other apart... in a new postcode!

It's all happening at the breathtaking Hinterland House in Byron Bay. If the picturesque scenes and glamorous atmosphere are anything to go by, it's set to be a dramatic yet dreamy change of pace for our lovebirds. Alternatively, it could serve as the perfect secluded venue for a cathartic scream session.

Who knows what revelations and confrontations will unfold as they try to find a way forward?

And while the Hinterland House offers a luxurious escape, it's also a place for the couples to reflect on their journey and the reasons why they chose to participate in Married At First Sight in the first place. As they prepare to make their final decisions, the retreat may just be the catalyst they need to make some life-changing choices.

The cost of such a luxurious retreat isn't to be underestimated. At $5000 per night, with a minimum 3-night stay, for those willing to spend a little more for a lot of luxury, it's a price that's well worth it.

The mansion can accommodate 16+ guests with its 8 bedrooms, 8 beds, and 6.5 baths. For a group getaway or a large family gathering, it's the perfect location. And with its stunning architecture and picturesque surroundings, it's a setting that's sure to make any stay unforgettable.

Past tensions

This isn't the first time that Married At First Sight has had a retreat for its couples. Season nine's retreat famously established plenty of drama for the remainder of the experiment, with bride Domenica Calarco accused of a glassing incident. It's a reminder that no matter the location, the drama always seems to find its way in.

However, with the stunning setting of Hinterland House, let's hope that this year's retreat is a little more peaceful.
