Exclusive: MAFS bride Natasha takes out AVO against new man
Married At First Sight bride Natasha Spencer, 26, has taken out an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order against her rumoured new beau, just days after the couple were spotted locking lips in public.
News of the star’s legal move against her new man – named as Steven Cook – was shared on Instagram on Tuesday, February 18.
While little was known about the pair’s relationship, things have evidently turned sour between the two with Steven being slapped with a court order preventing him from contacting Natasha.
Natasha’s ADVO drama
Yahoo Lifestyle can confirm that Natasha has taken out an ADVO against Steven which states he must not ‘assault or threaten’ her or damage her property.
The document obtained from NSW Local Courts also prevents him from approaching or contacting Natasha unless it’s via a lawyer.
Steven, whose age and occupation is unknown, was not present in court when the order was made.
MAFS marriage in doubt
In pics obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle, financial analyst Natasha - who tied the knot with groom Mikey Pembroke in episode two - was seen kissing Steven outside a Sydney cafe on February 10.
After their cafe date, the brunette beauty and her tattooed boyfriend held hands as they strolled through the city streets.
Steven, dressed in ripped black denim shorts and a black t-shirt, walked Natasha to her car where the pair shared a kiss before saying goodbye.
‘Still with Mikey’
In a video captured on the same day as her date with Steve, Natasha denied reports that she and Mikey had split and that she was dating someone else.
“How many guys can I date at one time?” she responded to a question about her current relationship status.
“I’m with Mikey, we just got home from a weekend in Melbourne together, like, we’re together guys,” she added.
Natasha went on to reveal that the pair are ‘struggling’ with the ‘wild experience’ that is MAFS but are relying on one another for ‘support’.
“There’s so much coming out in the paps today. We’re both sort of struggling a little bit about how much is coming out. It’s just really nice to have each other and support each other,” she said.
Tumultuous times
In a separate video obtained by New Idea, groom Mikey tells a different story, claiming the couple had been ‘kicked off’ the show by producers.
And in early February, the former private schoolboy was spotted making eyes at an activewear-clad mystery woman who turned out to be the wife of his friend.
Channel Nine has been contacted for comment.
