Love Triangle's Emily Ryder lashes out at Sam Fisher: 'The lies were so detailed'

EXCLUSIVE: Sam Fisher was sprung on Love Triangle talking to a secret girlfriend, but Emily knew of Hannah for a very different reason.

Love Triangle's Emily Ryder and Sam Fisher may have started as one of the experiment's strongest couples, but midway through the season it appears as though Sam's dirty secrets are about to come back and bite him.

Emily was Sam's first match on the show, with the two hitting it off immediately.

“Sam’s actually very charming. They don’t show much of that [on the first date] they show a lot of awkward moments, but there was a spark there," Emily told Yahoo Lifestyle of their initial meeting.

After a couple of weeks, Sam's second match Sophie moved in, forcing Emily out of the house for a week to see if Sophie and Sam would grow a connection.

The end of episode five saw Sam take a phone call, and while it appeared he was chatting with Emily, things took a turn.

"You know it's not for much longer, baby... Hannah, I miss you," he said, his voice captured on camera.

Yep, turns out Sneaky Sam actually appears to have a girlfriend on the outside, despite, you know, being on a show designed for single people to find love.

'Lies after lies' and the cat with a UTI

With things looking to get even more intense with the fallout of Sneaky Sam's lies in the upcoming episodes of Love Triangle, Emily opened up to Yahoo Lifestyle about Sam's elaborate lies.

"I kept seeing Hannah pop up on his phone," Emily shared.

"I said 'Who's Hannah? She seems to call a lot' and he said to me that it's his ex-girlfriend, who's in Broome, [and she's] looking after his cat because his cat has a UTI," Emily said. "So she's ringing to brief him on the UTI and the meds, and he's ringing her back about the payment for the vet... the lies after lies after lies."

Emily said she didn't even think to question him on the story because it was so detailed.

"It was so detailed, you couldn't even write this. I congratulate him for how great he was at lying, it was pretty well done! I just didn't question that lie," Emily continued, with a laugh. "Why would you?"
