Love Island's Margarita Smith unrecognisable after big change
Love Island Australia contestant Margarita Smith is kicking off the silly season with a brand new look that’s left her almost unrecognisable.
The reality TV star has switched up her brunette tresses for beachy blonde locks just in time for summer, it seems.
Margarita, 26, debuted her freshly dyed ‘do in a raunchy Instagram post on Wednesday, which saw her posing in nothing but a teal blue bra and knickers set.
The aged care worker, who appeared on season two of the Channel Nine series, certainly turned heads with her lingerie pic, prompting her followers to flood the comments section with compliments.
“Wow! Loving your hair!” wrote one fan.
“Blondieeeeee,” added another while one remarked, “Suits you!”
“Wow I’m amazed you get even more beautiful,” was another comment.

Photoshop faux pas
Margarita rose to fame as an intruder on the 2019 season of Love Island Australia where she paired with co-star Blake Williamson. Her stint on the show was over almost before it began with the pair sent packing just days later.
Before that, however, Margarita was accused of photoshopping herself into a photo of another blogger’s bedroom. Eagle-eyed viewers had dug up the old photo on Margarita’s Instagram from way back in 2018 that showed her posing in fashion blogger Emma Spiliopolous’ distinctive white room.
Margarita later claimed that she wasn’t responsible for editing the image and that someone else had ‘helped her out’.
“I had absolutely no idea it was someone's bedroom, I thought it was just a white background,” she told Now To Love at the time.
