Love Is Blind Renewed for Two More Seasons at Netflix, Ahead of Season 8 Premiere

Love Is Blind follows a group of singles who, in a less-than-conventional approach to romance, find a partner to marry without ever meeting them. Rather, the singles date each other from individual rooms called “pods”; once the matched-up couples are engaged and have met in person, they move in together, plan their weddings and, if they reach the altar together, must decide in front of their friends and family if they’re both going to proceed with the marriage.
Season 8, which spans 12 hour-long episodes, moves the action to Minneapolis, Minn., and premieres Friday, Feb. 14, aka Valentine’s Day. The show’s upcoming return also lines up with Love Is Blind‘s five-year anniversary, having first premiered in February 2020. To celebrate the milestone, Netflix has released the above retrospective, which also features a sneak peek at Season 8.
“This season, the singles form deep and immediate connections,” the official synopsis reads, “setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the pods for the real world.” (Plus, Vanessa and Nick Lachey will be back as hosts.)
