Kate Middleton attended the Wimbledon men's finals on Sunday, her first public appearance since Trooping the Colour on June 15. Her Royal Highness showed up in a purple dress from Safiyaa, arriving with her sister, Pippa Middleton, and daughter, Princess Charlotte, to a standing ovation from the crowd. And she seemed pretty thrilled by the overwhelming display of support.

Kate was filmed chatting to her family as she took her seat, and thanks to a professional lip reader we know exactly what she said.

According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, who spoke to The Sun, Kate asked Princess Charlotte to "come over here" as they arrived at their seats. She then waved and said "hi" to the cheering crowd before telling the person next to her that their reaction was "so sweet."

As for when Kate will make her next public appearance, things are pretty up in the air. The royal is still undergoing preventative chemotherapy and won't be taking on public duties (read: royal engagements) until she's cleared by her doctors. That said, back in June Kate released a statement saying she hopes "to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet."

"I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal," she explained, going on to to say "Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me."
