Seth Meyers Stunned By New Stat About Donald Trump
Former president and current GOP nominee Donald Trump made at least 11 false claims during a recent interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, per CNN.
Seth Meyers was surprised.
“Only 11?” the host of NBC’s “Late Night” asked on Thursday’s broadcast of his late-night show.
“Was it a four-minute interview?” he cracked.
“I feel like Trump could make 11 false claims during a haiku,” he added.

Trump made more than 30,000 false or misleading claims during the four years of his presidency, according to The Washington Post.
One of the Republican nominee’s biggest lies — which he continues to push to this day — is that he won the 2020 election against President Joe Biden.
On Wednesday alone, CNN’s fact-checking reporter Daniel Dale counted “at least 40 separate false claims” from Trump at just two campaign rallies in Pennsylvania.
